Above Django’s Riff, the Camel Club brings a touch of the hareem to the Ropewalks night scene, and offers a dubstep, r’n’b and hip-hop palette for those in search of a dance.

As the city’s busiest urban-flavoured nightclub, Camel gets busy at weekends. It’s a good natured crowd though, and all very tastefully decorated (if North Africa is your jam) so if you don’t mind queuing, it’ll be worth the wait.

Music policy is broader in the week, attracting students and those who, perhaps, think that Urban music starts and ends with Plan B.
