Things to do:

Idiosyncratic city centre hotel, tucked in behind the arches of Lime Street, fashioned on an (the clue’s in the name) ocean going liner.

Rooms (sorry, cabins) are decently proportioned, and the bar – a hit with stag and hen parties, but never too rowdy – is a pleasant place for a drink before heading into town.

Well placed for the Empire theatre, museums and shops.
